Things I'm loving this week:
1. Nest Fragrances 'Bamboo' Hand Soap. At $22 this is definitely a bit of a splurge, but the fragrance is incredible--clean and floral. I keep mine stashed under my sink and put it out when company comes over. Without fail, someone mentions how good the soap smells after the wash their hands. Sometimes, it really is the little luxuries.
2. This article from Domino. We got our first taste of fall this week in North Carolina. It was a welcomed break from upper 90 degree weather and the cool crisp mornings are making me increasingly excited for the next season. I love decorating our house for fall and then for Christmas, and I find my mind frequently wandering to where I'll put our Christmas tree, what colors I want to use to decorate for the holidays, and switching out our pillows with more festive ones. This article from Domino made me feel like I wasn't such a freak for being eager for December in August! Anyone else excited for the fall/winter season?
3. Brooklyn. Admittedly, I'm not much of a movie person. It's usually hard for me to pay attention for the duration and I find that I have no idea what's going on half-way through. Brooklyn, on the other hand, drew me in and I was enthralled. I'm fascinated with the immigrant experience and the movie helped me imagine what my great grandfather went through when moving his whole life from Italy. It's definitely worth checking out.
