Three things I'm digging this week:
1. Voluspa's "Maison Jardin" Two-Wick Tin Candle Trio. I always stock up on Voluspas at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They are the best candles-- they burn cleanly and they go totally to wax when you light them, so that they wear down evenly. Baltic Amber is my go to, but I gave this trio a shot without smelling them. They are lovely! Slightly floral and clean. A good tip: I save all the wax at the very bottom of the candle (the stuff that is left once the wick is gone) and put it in a candle warmer to enjoy the scent longer.
2. Pierre Frey's "Arty" fabric. I saw this fabric on Pinterst and I can't get it off my mind. It would make a great pillow, cushion (I'm thinking about it for our kitchen banquette), or curtain like in this picture. Maybe even framed with a simple white mat.
3. Young House Love's podcast "Young House Love has a Podcast." I never thought I would get into podcasts--but I am hooked! Young House Love is a great design blog and I recently downloaded their podcasts because I've been traveling frequently for work. It's been really fun for me to listen to another couple who are so invested in making their home beautiful and their design process. New podcasts are posted each Monday-- which has made my Monday morning commute that much more bearable (who knew that was possible!).
